Age Concern Bedfordshire

Age Concern Bedfordshire's "LINK" services operates throughout Bedfordshire. The service is provided through joint funding from Bedfordshire PCT and Bedfordshire Social Services. The service supports GP's, District Nurses, Hospital Discharge Teams and other health professionals in giving support to patients on non - medical matters, that may be affecting their general health. In the course of a year we see many hundreds of people, visiting them, mainly in their own homes, providing a confidential and caring service. Our aim is to improve our clients general well being and quality of life.

The service operates throughout North Bedfordshire. The majority of people we see at Link are referred by their medical advisors. However, we are happy to take self-referrals too. If you know someone whose health may be suffering because of personal issues, please tell them about "Link". We are here to help!
